Bio:

Rúmil is 150 years old and has lived his life travelling the world. He tells stories of a lost city on the Tien continents which disappeared over 120 years ago called Eluchol. Some say that the only way he’d have knowledge of that city is to have been an inhabitant.

In truth, he lived in the city with thousands of other elves who specialized in hunting down devils, cancelling their deals, and destroying them. Eventually what had once been a minor annoyance to Mephistopheles became a major source of irritation. He had the city besieged by devils.

Unbeknown to him, the people of Elochol had planned for just this problem and the entire city was laid out inside a giant Circle meant to entrap Evil and enchanted in an extremely powerful dimensional anchoring spell. Any devil foolish enough to enter the city would find themselves unable to leave. The city appointed Rumil’s family as the keepers of the lock. Should the worst happen, his family’s blood was the key component of a spell to collapse the entirety of the city into a singularity, inspired by what happens when a bag of holding is placed inside a bag of holding.

During the great siege, Rumil’s family was assassinated immediately and he was barely able to make it to the outside of the Circle and fell, broken and bleeding on the circle itself. This was enough to activate the trap and the entire city collapsed, destroying everything inside.

He spent the next 50 years wandering the world racked with rage and guilt over being the sole survivor of a genocide he caused (read as he shifted to neutral evil) until he encountered a kind Calistrian named Sara who helped him back to sanity (returned him to chaotic good). Since then, however, he finds it all too easy when pushed to slip back to old habits and do things that might be considered evil.
